Completed Critical Care Nursing and Management Training
School of Health Sciences by ADK Hospital has conducted and successfully completed a "Critical Care Nursing and Management" training.
Trainers’ first batch completed the course on 11th August 2016. The aim of the training was to offer professional development opportunities for nurses who want to advance their career in the field of critical care nursing, to enhance nurses’ knowledge and skill for enabling to deliver appropriate nursing management for patients who are in critical conditions and to develop ability to respond to changing needs in critical care in an analytical way.
Duration of the training was two months and the participants completed 260 hours of clinical practice in Intensive Care Unit of ADK Hospital and had additional 26 hours of theory sessions. Certificates were awarded to the participants by Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Heath, Khadheeja Abdul Samad Abdullah. Nurses who completed the training were Registered Nurses of Haa Alif Atoll Hospital, RN Aishath Shamna and RN. Hawwa Shamila.
