ADK Hospital Celebrated outstanding performers with Employee Performance Award 2018

ADK Hospital held a grand function as Ghiyasudhin International School on 26^th October 2018 to give away the Employee Performance Awards. The ceremony was graced by Dr. Ali Shameem, the president of the Maldives Civil Service Commission as the Chief Guest of the ceremony. The chairman of the ADK Group, Mr. Ahmed Nashid also honored the staff with his presence.  This was the consecutive 8^th Employee Performance Award held by ADK Hospital. 

The Employee Performance Awards is conducted annually to give away awards to staff of ADK hospital who have performed outstandingly in the year. The awards are in three categories; Silver Performers (awarded with cash prize of MVR 5000/-, a certificate and tag which he/she is encouraged to wear to work),  Gold Performers (awarded with cash prize of MVR 7,500/-, a certificate and a tag which he/she is encouraged to wear to work) and Employee of the year (awarded with cash prize of MVR 15,000/-, a certificate, sash, bouquet, a 5 nights holiday package for 2 people in Istanbul, Turkey and a tag which he/she is encouraged to wear to work).  Every year, 5 employees are selected as Silver performers, 5 employees are selected as Gold Performers and one Employee is selected as the Employee of the year. In addition to these 11 outstanding performers, highly performing staff are selected as high performers and awarded with certificates.

Speaking at the ceremony, the managing director of ADK Hospital, Mr Ahmed Afaal highlighted how thankful he is of having such outstanding performers in ADK Hospital and that even though only 104 staff won the awards, every staff at ADK is a high performer. He also expressed his vison of bringing some revolutionary changes to the way performance appraisal is done at ADK Hospital by incorporating a health and wellness component to the appraisal system.

The chief guest of the ceremony, Dr. Ali Shameem expressed his view about the excellent job ADK Hospital is doing as a leading healthcare provider in the country. He appreciated the chairman of ADK Group and the managing director of ADK Hospital for their visionary leadership and for incorporating latest technology in the services.

The Employee of the year was Dr. Ishwor Sharma, physician of ADK  Hospital.
