Continuing Medical Education - Multi Drug Resistant Organisms, Control and Treatment

ADK Hospital in partnership with Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) India is going to conduct a CME session on Multi drug resistant organisms, control and treatment.

This CME is organised in order to provide an opportunity to local medical, nursing and other related professionals to improve their knowledge and know how on current issues in the field. ADK Hospital, in the past have also organised such sessions so that clinical professionals can gain and improve knowledge while working.

The broader theme of this CME is infection control and the session will be conducted by and infection control specialist from KIMS. The main areas of covered in the CME include

  • Key concepts of infection prevention
  • Application of concepts and measuring outcomes
  • Examples of MRSA

The details of the facilitator are as follows

Dr. Anup R Warrier

MBBS, DNB (Medicine), Fellowship in Infectious Diseases, Board Certification in Infection Control (CIC, USA), Certification in Travel Health (ISTM, USA), Certification is Surgical Infections (SIS, Europe).

Dr Warrier has over 5 years of active expereince in infection control internationally.

The Employee of the Year 2023 award was won by Ms. Seema Mohamed, Coordinator – Clinical Support Service, who received MVR. 15,000 cash prize and 5-nights holiday package for 2 people to experience the wonders of a Wild Life Safari in Kenya.
