Healthcare Quality Forum

ADK Hospital, as part of its quality theme will conduct a Healthcare Quaility Forum on 2nd March 2013. This is the first time a medical institution in the Maldives is taking such an initiative to promote quality and standards of care for patients.

The purpose of this Forum is to initiate the dialogue and culture of safe patient-centered care, and will focus on the follwoing streams

• Clinical Improvement
• Medical Law
• Patient Safety and 
• Patient Engagement

This is a one day forum where discussions on these areas will be initiated. A wide range of participants, inclluding medical professioanls, adminitrators and patients will participate in this Forum. Papers will be presented from experts in the areas and as a unique feature, there will be a paper presented by patients who have had different expereinces in the Maldives healthcare system.

ADK Hospital is committed and continually work towards establishing new benchmarks and quality standards for the betterment of healthcare in the Maldives. This Forum in one of many initiatives taken to expand our thinking, reach and dialogue to improve patient care in the Maldives.

This even will be held on March 2, 2013 at Nasandhura Palace Hotel.
