Patient Engagement Program - Breast Cancer Awareness

January 31, 2013

As part of the patient engagement component of the Quality Improvement Strategy, activities for patients are planned to be carried out by the ADK Hospital. The activities will be in the form of presentations on important and common illnesses, with a focus on how patients can contribute to preventing and managing their illnesses. The presentations will offer an opportunity to disseminate information to patients, and for patients to clarify questions regarding their condition.

The Hospital aims to conduct a patient engagement session throughout the year. The first patient engagement session is planned for February for which date, time and venue will be informed to patients and general public who register for the sessions. These sessions are conducted completely free of charge.

This month's Pateint Engagement Session is on Breast Canser and the session will be conducted by the Senior Consusltant in Surgery, Dr. Jain from ADK Hospital.

Registrations are now open and you may call +960 3300246 for more information and registration. The deadline for registrations is on or before 7 February 2013.
