Eid Mubarak

We wish everyone a prosperous Hajj and a Happy Eid. Please note that specialist outpatient services will be closed during Hajj Day and Eid-ul-Alhaa. Normal operations resume on Saturday October 27, 2012. Be safe during the holidays.
 

Help us to serve you better

The hospital initiated a patient feedback survey named "help us to serve you better" today. The aim of this survey is to get feedback from outpatients who come for consultation. This survey is being conducted as part of the quality drive of the Hospital. The results of this survey will be uses to assess the experience of the patients and also use it in future service improvement and training.
 

Disease Advisory - Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease

This advisory is issued to inform the general public that there is an increased incidence of Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD) seen in paediatric cases at the hospital. Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease is a viral condition that presents with high grade fever and blister-like sores in the mouth. This condition is sometimes mistaken with tonsillitis or pharyngitis. Please be aware of this condition and if presenting to hospital with high fever, please do ask doctors to look for the condition.
 

Say YES to breastfeeding

A workshop on breastfeeding practices is currently being held for nurses and community health officers at Addu City. This workshop is organised by the Hithadhoo Regional Hospital in collaboration with ADK Hospital.
 

Caution when visiting hospitals

Every hospital in the word has very limited and strict visiting hours for those relatives, friends, colleagues, well wishers and whoever wishes to visit patients while they are in hospital. Most hospitals also inform whoever is visiting patients; not to bring flowers or other such gifts and also restrict in bringing children who are below a certain age.

  • Celebrating Nurses Day Events 2024

    May 12, 2024 - Nurses day events every year is held to honor the dedication and hard work of nurses around the world. We, at ADK hospital, began the celebration of nurses’ week with a healthy home-made breakfast on 6th May 2024. Invitees from all the departments of the hospital took part in this event. The essence of the event was to uplift the spirit of inclusivity, appreciate nurses and their contributions while fostering a sense of community and well being within the nursing profession.

  • Celebrating Excellence: Highlights from the 11th Employee Performance Awards at ADK Hospital

    December 9, 2023 - ADK Hospital celebrated Annual Employee Performance Awards (EPA) at Ghiyasuddin International School. The Employee of the Year 2023 award was won by Ms. Seema Mohamed, Coordinator – Clinical Support Service, who received MVR. 15,000 cash prize and 5-nights holiday package for 2 people to experience the wonders of a Wild Life Safari in Kenya.
